Coatlus is a Victoria-based AI consultancy founded by Curtis Duggan. It exists to help owner-led teams turn AI experimentation into useful, reviewable business systems.

Why this practice exists

The gap is not access to AI. It is operational judgment.

Small businesses can access the same powerful tools as large organizations, but they rarely have dedicated teams to evaluate use cases, connect systems, train employees, manage information boundaries, and maintain what gets built.

Coatlus fills that gap. Curtis brings more than a decade of product and software work to the ordinary operating problems that determine whether an AI initiative becomes useful: process clarity, user adoption, data quality, exceptions, measurement, and ownership.

The work stays deliberately close to the client. The person helping define the problem is also accountable for the recommendation and, when appropriate, the implementation.
